The short, honest version: we convert your files; we don't keep them.
Your files, precisely. When you convert a file, it is uploaded to our server and processed in a temporary folder that is destroyed the moment processing ends. The converted copy is kept for up to one hour so your download can finish, then deleted automatically. Transcription workspaces for long recordings are deleted when you finish, or automatically within three hours if abandoned. We never read, share, or sell your files, and there are no accounts, so nothing is tied to an identity. If you'd rather nothing left your device at all, use the Privacy lab or the Invoice checker — those run entirely in your browser, and we mark every tool with where it runs.
What we do collect. Standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) kept briefly for security and to keep the service running. A small counter of how many files you've converted is stored in your own browser (localStorage), never on our servers. Your language choice is also stored in your browser.
Advertising. If ads are shown on this site, they are served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. Analytics. If we use analytics, it is aggregate page-view counting to understand which tools help people — never the contents of your files.
